Right, i'm no expert...... (i.e. don't blame me if you blank!! lol) but i seem to get all my decent fish fishing the quivertip. I'll fire out a good few pouches of pellets (normally koi swim stim) mid channel and fish a maggot feeder over them. This has produced some great catches for me on many occasions (plenty of Bream between 4-7lb topped by the unnofficial record of 10lb 0oz!!!)
It might be worth a try. I fish 8lb Shakespeare Targa line as it's very low profile to a 6lb link and size 14 hook, and normally get bites throughout the day from 1/2 decent fish. Try the pegs round the corner from the bailiffs cabin, and keep firing in the pellets!! - Tim

Catching bags of bream has always been a task pn wood stock. My attack is: Start out about four in the morning, spray the far bank with corn while your setting up,then fish waggler or light feeder as reasonably close to the far bank as possible. Fishing i find will normally die off around 8 in the morning as the bream move into the deeper channel in the middle. I find keeping a steady flow of bait will keep them contained for a while but dont over feed. Move your rig into the middle channel as the sun starts to rise or as bite start to dry up. - Tim These would imo be the better pegs to try,and maybe lighten up a little on hook link. Hth's mat.
