Never before have I known Woodstock to produce so many large 'snots' as it is at the moment! I've been fishing most weekends and pulling them out on simple maggot feeder setups. Biggest i've had is 10lbs 0oz!! with back up weights going to 7lb 2oz. It's fantastic sport, and unlike many a carp angler, they're more than welcome in my swim!! Has anyone else had any luck with good sized Bream??

I have been disapointed this season with the Bream catches compared to the last few seasons, but saying that there has been some big Bream on the bank as Tim can prove with his gallery entries, also look at the bag of Bream Neil Harrington (Twizzle) had in the last open match on Woody, a massive 32lb and all on the waggler at the far bank. It just proves that there is a lot opresure on the lake at the moment with all the intrest with the new stocking etc, but it will be well worth a crack on the SLABS when it does get quieter.
