Right, I know they're there... somewhere, but where are the best places to fish for pike on the wye?? The only stretch I really know is Symonds Yat?? Any advice at all would be appreciated, I normally adopt a roving approach but a kick in the right direction would be most welcome. I've only ever had a jack of about 6lb out on a lure and had a couple of 'follows' but they're few and far between.

TBH I'm still trying to fing the best spots myself. Symonds Yat East seems to be a half decent spot for pike and i've heard of a few being pulled out in the past to 27lb. Can't seem to find them though (only had the 1 for about 6lb). Funnily enough, am going on a recce this weekend with my dad to Bigsweir and the Yat so will try to find out as much as I can before I go. Will keep you all posted if I hear anything, but as of yet i'm afraid i'm in the dark like you are
